Why Nutrition Is Necessary To Lose Weight

Wondering where to start when it comes to nutrition?

 

You aren’t the only one!

 

When starting out you should take baby steps and make realistic goals.

 

When I started out I wanted to lose 30 pounds in the first week. Obviously that never happened 🙂

 

Losing weight can be easy if you eat the right foods.

 

I know, easier said than done.

 

Slowly get rid of processed foods (foods with high fat and sugar)

 

Start including whole natural foods like fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy and lean meats.

 

Make protein a priority!

 

Protein keeps you full longer and it minimizes cravings.

 

Aim for 15-30 grams per meal.  Fill the rest in with Fruits, veggies and whole grains.

 

By eating whole natural foods you can consume more volume with fewer calories.

 

Switching over from eating fast food, frozen burritos and ice cream to whole foods has changed my life.

 

If I can do this, I know you can!!
